OUR STORY

Hyung Je Martial Arts
Hyung Je Martial Arts
Back in 2011, we opened our doors with one simple aim: to teach authentic martial arts in a way that's supportive, challenging, and built on real values - not ego.
The name 'Hyung Je' was chosen as it means 'brothers' in Korean - a name that represents the bond between our founders and the spirit we bring to every class. It's not just about kicks and belts. It's about respect, discipline, confidence and pushing each other to be better - on and off the mats.

Present
Over the years, we've trained hundreds of students, seen beginners grow into black belts, and helped kids, teens and adults unlock their potential. We've built a club that's proud of its roots and passionate about the future.
Now, over a decade later, Hyung Je is still going strong - with qualified instructors, classes for all ages, and a community that backs each other every step of the way. Whether you're six or sixty, there's a place for you here.
THE FUTURE
Where we are going
We've come a long way - but we're not done yet.

The future of Hyung Je Martial Arts is all about growth. Not just numbers, but in impact. We want to reach more people, in more communities, and help them discover what training can really do - for the body, the mind, and everyday life.

We are investing in our instructors, developing new programmes and creating a club that's more than just a place to train - it's a place to belong.

Whether it's helping a shy six year old find their confidence, giving teens a positive path to follow, or showing adults they've still got fight left in them - this is why we are here.

As we grow, we'll keep the same values that got us this far: respect, resilience, honesty and a drive to be better than yesterday.
